Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.870,00 und damit 29% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Johannes Molzahn erzielen.
