This artwork by Jim Campbell achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Street Scene Grid #2 sold for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,934.26) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jim Campbell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Home Movie 300-2, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 75,000.00 (€ 59,391.83).

Für andere Arbeiten von Jim Campbell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Home Movie 300-2 beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 75.000,00 (€ 59.391,83) versteigert wurde.
