Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Reconstruction #8 by Jim Campbell was auctioned at Christies in New York in August 2018. It achieved a price of USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,325.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jim Campbell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Home Movie 300-2, which sold at auction in September 2014 for USD 75,000.00 (€ 59,391.83).

Die Arbeit Reconstruction #8 von Jim Campbell kam im August 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.325,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jim Campbell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Home Movie 300-2 beobachtet, die im September 2014 für USD 75.000,00 (€ 59.391,83) versteigert wurde.
