This artwork by Jim Campbell achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2015. In the First Open auction, the work Untitled (Grand Central Station) sold for USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,034.58) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jim Campbell; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Home Movie 300-2 sold at auction in September 2014 with the realized price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 59,391.83).
