Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2019 Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Farage in Prison by Jeremy Deller. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 813.00 (€ 945.75), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeremy Deller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Uses of Literacy in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 77,422.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Farage in Prison von Jeremy Deller zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 813,00 (€ 945,75) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeremy Deller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Uses of Literacy im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 77.422,05).
