Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Jeremy Deller for GBP 688.00 (€ 817.01). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeremy Deller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Uses of Literacy in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 77,422.05).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jeremy Deller für GBP 688,00 (€ 817,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeremy Deller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Uses of Literacy im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 77.422,05).
