Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Untitled (Field #3 Black And White) by Jennifer Guidi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 100,800.00 (€ 82,663.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jennifer Guidi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 625,000.00 (€ 553,734.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Field #3 Black And White) von Jennifer Guidi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 82.663,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jennifer Guidi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elements of All Entities (Universe Mandala SF #6G, Green, Black Sand) im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 625.000,00 (€ 553.734,38).
