A top price for Jay Davis - as previously expected
The work It’s Time to Go by Jay Davis was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2010. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,084.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, It’s Time to Go is the most expensive artwork by Jay Davis that we have observed at auctions so far.
