This artwork by Janet Fish achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in October 2018. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Pears and Glove sold for USD 1,000.00 (€ 882.46) - well above the upper estimate of USD 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Janet Fish achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five Bertolli Bottles in July last year with an auction result of USD 239,400.00 (€ 234,659.87).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Janet Fish erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wurde die Arbeit Pears and Glove für USD 1.000,00 (€ 882,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Janet Fish erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five Bertolli Bottles im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 234.659,87).
