In February 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Colour Studies by Jan Dibbets. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,591.09), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Dibbets achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Colour Studies von Jan Dibbets zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.591,09) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Dibbets erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
