Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jan Dibbets achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April last year. In the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction, the work Multiple No. I sold for EUR 21,420.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Dibbets - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I, which sold at auction in November 2019 for EUR 68,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Dibbets erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam wurde die Arbeit Multiple No. I für EUR 21.420,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Dibbets mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I beobachtet, die im November 2019 für EUR 68.750,00 versteigert wurde.
