Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Komposition mit Kuppelfragmenten by Jan Dibbets for GBP 630.00 (€ 740.09). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Dibbets achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 68,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Komposition mit Kuppelfragmenten von Jan Dibbets für GBP 630,00 (€ 740,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Dibbets erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shutterspeed Piece - Konrad Fisher's Gallery I im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 68.750,00.
