Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Kit by James White was auctioned at Phillips in London in December 2013. It achieved a price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,217.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by James White have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Double Glass in May this year with an auction result of USD 40,640.00 (€ 38,145.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Kit von James White kam im Dezember 2013 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.217,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James White auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Double Glass im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.640,00 (€ 38.145,30).
