The auction ended at the price of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,461.70), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by James White have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Double Glass in May this year with an auction result of USD 40,640.00 (€ 38,145.30).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.461,70) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James White auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Double Glass im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.640,00 (€ 38.145,30).
