Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work My Arai 'Chris Walker Replica' by James White was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,968.14). Admittedly, works by James White have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Double Glass in May this year with an auction result of USD 40,640.00 (€ 38,145.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit My Arai 'Chris Walker Replica' von James White kam im Februar 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.968,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James White auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Double Glass im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.640,00 (€ 38.145,30).
