Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of EUR 960.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Turrell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orca, Blue-Red in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 302,400.00 (€ 335,789.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Four Lights Installations, Collector's Deluxe Edition, 1982 von James Turrell kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Brüssel zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 960,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Turrell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orca, Blue-Red im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 302.400,00 (€ 335.789,40).
