Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,301.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Lee Byars achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Figure of Death in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 761,000.00 (€ 692,195.74).
