The work Fancher by James Brooks was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2019. It achieved a price of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,600.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Brooks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work M-51 in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 165,592.16).

Die Arbeit Fancher von James Brooks kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.600,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Brooks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit M-51 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 165.592,16).
