In May last year Sothebys in New York held the auction Modern Day Auction, which included the work Untitled (Generator) by Irene Rice Pereira. The »bidding war« ended at USD 60,480.00 (€ 56,360.08), 21% above the upper estimate. With this result, Untitled (Generator) is even the most expensive work of art by Irene Rice Pereira that we have observed at auctions so far.
