Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Gloria In Excelsius by Irene Rice Pereira was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,343.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Irene Rice Pereira achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Generator) in May last year with an auction result of USD 60,480.00 (€ 56,360.08).
