Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moderate Enlightenment by Imran Qureshi was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2016. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 47,267.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Imran Qureshi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2017 the work The Garden Within was auctioned for GBP 42,500.00 (€ 49,805.80).
