Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Los inmigrantes by Ignacio Iturria was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2014. It changed hands for a price of USD 21,250.00 (€ 15,579.18) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ignacio Iturria - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avión azul en la bañera, which sold at auction in May 2001 for USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).

Die Arbeit Los inmigrantes von Ignacio Iturria wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 15.579,18) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00.
