Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Composición De 16 Figuras by Ignacio Iturria. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 35,504.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Ignacio Iturria have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2001 the work Avión azul en la bañera was auctioned for USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composición De 16 Figuras von Ignacio Iturria zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 35.504,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ignacio Iturria konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2001 die Arbeit Avión azul en la bañera für USD 35.250,00 (€ 41.691,31) versteigert.
