Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sentado a la mesa by Ignacio Iturria was sold in the Latin American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in October last year. The price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 5,073.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ignacio Iturria have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Avión azul en la bañera in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sentado a la mesa von Ignacio Iturria wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 5.073,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ignacio Iturria auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Avión azul en la bañera im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.250,00 (€ 41.691,31).
