Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work El taller del artista by Ignacio Iturria for USD 30,000.00 (€ 25,214.32). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Online at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Ignacio Iturria have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2001 by the work Avión azul en la bañera at USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ignacio Iturria wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2001 die Arbeit Avión azul en la bañera mit USD 35.250,00 (€ 41.691,31).
