Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mueble con cucharas by Ignacio Iturria was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,187.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ignacio Iturria have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2001 the work Avión azul en la bañera was auctioned for USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mueble con cucharas von Ignacio Iturria wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.187,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
