Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Ignacio Iturria was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,039.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ignacio Iturria - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avión azul en la bañera, which sold at auction in May 2001 for USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ignacio Iturria kam im November 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.039,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ignacio Iturria mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avión azul en la bañera beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für USD 35.250,00 (€ 41.691,31) versteigert wurde.
