The work Compartimientos by Ignacio Iturria was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2015. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,935.81) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ignacio Iturria - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Avión azul en la bañera, which sold at auction in May 2001 for USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).

Die Arbeit Compartimientos von Ignacio Iturria kam im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.935,81) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ignacio Iturria mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Avión azul en la bañera beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für USD 35.250,00 (€ 41.691,31) versteigert wurde.
