It changed hands for a price of USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,610.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ignacio Iturria have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Avión azul en la bañera in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 35,250.00 (€ 41,691.31).

Die Arbeit Otro jueves von Ignacio Iturria wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 7.610,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ignacio Iturria auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Avión azul en la bañera im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.250,00 (€ 41.691,31).
