Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Reconstructions by Huma Bhabha was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 12,700.00 (€ 11,630.04). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huma Bhabha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,126.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Reconstructions von Huma Bhabha wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 12.700,00 (€ 11.630,04) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huma Bhabha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 178.126,11).
