Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Huma Bhabha was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November this year. The price achieved of USD 12,700.00 (€ 11,642.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huma Bhabha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,126.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Huma Bhabha kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.700,00 (€ 11.642,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huma Bhabha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 178.126,11).
