This artwork by Huma Bhabha achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled sold for USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,126.11) - well above the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00. This high result makes Untitled the most expensive artwork by Huma Bhabha that we have observed at auctions so far.
