This work without title by Hugo McCloud was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in London in October 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 25,373.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hugo McCloud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work To Be Titled, 2014, which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 75,312.50 (€ 65,053.55).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hugo McCloud wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 25.373,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Hugo McCloud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit To Be Titled, 2014 beobachtet, die im September 2021 für USD 75.312,50 (€ 65.053,55) versteigert wurde.
