In March this year Phillips held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Hugo McCloud. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,640.00 (€ 37,380.43), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Hugo McCloud have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 75,312.50 (€ 65,053.55) in September 2021 for the work To Be Titled, 2014.
