This artwork by Hugo McCloud achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in July 2021. In the New Now auction, the work without title sold for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,507.45) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hugo McCloud - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work To Be Titled, 2014, which sold at auction in September 2021 for USD 75,312.50 (€ 65,053.55).

In der Auktion New Now wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.507,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hugo McCloud mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit To Be Titled, 2014 beobachtet, die im September 2021 für USD 75.312,50 (€ 65.053,55) versteigert wurde.
