In November 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Spangled Child Headed Blengin. All Nations Of Christian Nature. All Islands Of Every Sea. by Henry Darger. The result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 136,128.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Henry Darger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans Titre in December 2014 with an auction result of EUR 601,500.00.

Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spangled Child Headed Blengin. All Nations Of Christian Nature. All Islands Of Every Sea. von Henry Darger zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 136.128,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Darger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans Titre im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 601.500,00.
