Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A moment of contemplation by Henk Chabot was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2011. The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henk Chabot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Landschap, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 34,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A moment of contemplation von Henk Chabot kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Henk Chabot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Landschap beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 34.350,00 versteigert wurde.
