Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of A Man by Henk Chabot was sold in the Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Henk Chabot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Landschap in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 34,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Man von Henk Chabot wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries' bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henk Chabot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Landschap im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.350,00.
