It achieved a price of EUR 6,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25 %. Admittedly, works by Henk Chabot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Landschap in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 34,350.00.

Die Arbeit A Skipper von Henk Chabot wurde im Dezember 2007 in der Auktion Twentieth Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henk Chabot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Landschap im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.350,00.
