In June 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Self portrait by Henk Chabot. The auction ended at the price of EUR 15,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henk Chabot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Landschap, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 34,350.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Self portrait von Henk Chabot zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Henk Chabot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Landschap beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 34.350,00 versteigert wurde.
