Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art and, which included the work Greenhouses in a polder landscape by Henk Chabot. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,925.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henk Chabot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Landschap, which sold at auction in June 2008 for EUR 34,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art and durch, in der auch die Arbeit Greenhouses in a polder landscape von Henk Chabot zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 12.925,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Henk Chabot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Landschap beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für EUR 34.350,00 versteigert wurde.
