Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session, which included the work Mujer con pañuelo by Hector Poleo. The price achieved of USD 22,860.00 (€ 20,957.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hector Poleo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maternidad in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 137,900.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mujer con pañuelo von Hector Poleo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.860,00 (€ 20.957,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hector Poleo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maternidad im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 137.900,36).
