Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hector Poleo could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Rostro changed hands for USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,905.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hector Poleo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maternidad in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 137,900.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hector Poleo konnte im Juni 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Rostro für USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.905,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hector Poleo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maternidad im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 137.900,36).
