This work of art by Hector Poleo could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art auction, the work Niña De Perfil changed hands for USD 23,750.00 (€ 21,329.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hector Poleo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maternidad in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 170,500.00 (€ 137,900.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hector Poleo konnte im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Niña De Perfil für USD 23.750,00 (€ 21.329,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hector Poleo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maternidad im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.500,00 (€ 137.900,36).
