Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peellandschap by Hans van Hoek was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2002. The price achieved of EUR 3,824.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hans van Hoek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Black water in June 2000 with an auction result of NLG 39,786.80 (€ 16,977.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peellandschap von Hans van Hoek kam im Dezember 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.824,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans van Hoek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Black water im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 39.786,80 (€ 16.977,65).
