Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work (Yellow) Cross between trees by Hans van Hoek for EUR 3,750.00. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Hans van Hoek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Black water in June 2000 with an auction result of NLG 39,786.80 (€ 16,977.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit (Yellow) Cross between trees von Hans van Hoek für EUR 3.750,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans van Hoek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Black water im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 39.786,80 (€ 16.977,65).
