The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans van Hoek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Black water in June 2000 with an auction result of NLG 39,786.80 (€ 16,977.65).
