Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Homage to Soetsu Yanagi, Bernard Leach, and, the unknown craftsman by Hans van Hoek was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2011. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans van Hoek - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Black water, which sold at auction in June 2000 for NLG 39,786.80 (€ 16,977.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Homage to Soetsu Yanagi, Bernard Leach, and, the unknown craftsman von Hans van Hoek kam im September 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans van Hoek mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Black water beobachtet, die im Juni 2000 für NLG 39.786,80 (€ 16.977,65) versteigert wurde.
