Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2016 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Hannah van Bart for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,336.89). This price was achieved in the auction First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hannah van Bart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Thin air, which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,984.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2016 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hannah van Bart für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.336,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hannah van Bart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Thin air beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.984,73) versteigert wurde.
