Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Boy's Head by Hannah van Bart was auctioned at Christies in New York in December 2019. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,453.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hannah van Bart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Thin air, which sold at auction in July 2019 for USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,984.73).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.453,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hannah van Bart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Thin air beobachtet, die im Juli 2019 für USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.984,73) versteigert wurde.
